Spirals in Life

It seems like every project I do ends up having at least one thing go wrong that I have to overcome. This current project is all the previous projects I have done times 10. I wrote the short "The Survivor" for a 3 minute or least film contest. It is an action adventure that took place in only one room, with a pick up shot on the dry lake-bed. The camera I wanted I couldn't get, during shooting I broke a picture frame, busted a tube of fake blood all over my carpet, had to edit the sound to the footage without reference sound on the footage, had issues exporting, couldn't get the audio to export separately, while refreshing footage the audio got mixed around all over the place somehow, had to re-edit the audio 4 times total before getting the software to work right, and now my visual effects artist had an emergency and is leaving town for a week.... I now have to figure out how to do all that myself (a tentacle grabbing someone, a cool title, putting in a fake city, Gun shot flashes, and a cool color correction to fix the mood)....and I only have 7 days to do it. Fun stuff.
